The European Inclusion Strategy for Ukrainians Project (INCLUSION) is a European initiative designed in response to the unprecedented humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
The INCLUSION Alliance unites partners from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Ukraine and France, working together to promote the integration of Ukrainian immigrants and refugees through education, training, and community initiatives.
Since February 2022, millions of Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homes, seeking safety, stability, and new opportunities across Europe. While the EU has mobilized quickly to provide temporary protection, access to healthcare, housing, and education, the challenge of long-term integration remains.
This project was born out of a strong belief in the values of solidarity, equality, and diversity. Its vision is to build a bridge between Ukrainian newcomers and European host communities, creating pathways for mutual understanding, cooperation, and shared prosperity.
The INCLUSION Project is not only about providing basic support, but also about empowering individuals. It focuses on giving Ukrainians the tools, knowledge, and skills they need to thrive in their new environment, while also preparing host communities to embrace diversity and benefit from the cultural and social contributions of immigrants.
By leveraging the experience of partners across Europe —including a direct partner from Ukraine— the project ensures that all actions are grounded in real needs, cultural sensitivity, and long-term sustainability.
